Visa day !!! Went to the US Embassy at 8.30am and had to wait for half an hour, in the cold, miserable rain before we were allowed to go in. After a quick interview, about 5 minutes, I was granted a visa. Yay!!

Met up with Davinia (at Marble Arch) and headed to Notting Hill for lunch - yup - Nyonya food - yummy yummy. After that, we made our way to Covent Gardens for a quick shopping break. Nope - didn't buy much, only a little strappy tee from H&M.

By 5pm we headed to Leicester Square to meet up with Sweta and had din din in Misato - another good place for cheap Japanese food.

Mamma Mia was fab. One of the most upbeat, hilarious musical that I've seen. Something that makes you feel good at the very end - unlike the depressing ones (i.e. Phantom, Miss Saigon and Les Mis). We were singing ABBA songs all the way to Notting Hill Gate, where we boarded the Oxford Tube.

Zuzanna's Easter Brunch

Wolfson was so quiet over Easter, one could actually hear a pin drop. The remaining few of us (who were stuck and had no where to go) were so bored ... and I mean bored to the bone (I was actually sending nonsensical e-mails to everyone and anyone that I could think of). Thankfully Zuzanna came up with a brilliant idea - an Easter Brunch, which was a huge success.

The best part - I am sure you can guess by now - was the FOOD. As you can judge by the pics, Zuz put so much effort into it ... that I couldn't make myself eat the 'beautiful' cheese cake. Not forgetting the other yummy food contributed by the rest of the crowd - pasta salad, fruit salad, 'life altering' scones, devilled eggs ... etc.

Highlight of the day - the 'massacre' of the 'deranged' chocolate Easter bunnies - thanx to Sweta (she literally defaced them and there's photo proof of it as well).

Wolfson Won !!! What else can I say except we kicked ass !!

Anyway, it was my first time in Cambridge and we did the normal touristy bit - visiting the 3 main colleges - King's, St. John's and Trinity - which was spectacular (an honest opinion and not biased by the fact that I m from Oxford). The best bit was getting into St. John's for free. How did we do it ? Well we snootily stated that we are from Oxford and were interested in viewing St. John's, Cambridge ... and whaddya know - the porters let us in for free !!!

Highlight of the day - beating Darwin in Scrabble !!! Yeah ... and we came up with a 7 letter word - downright brilliant and an instant 50 points for us !!

A fun outing indeed !
