Woke up at 430am (argh ... that was a killer) and made my way to Magdlen college for the traditional May Day celebration - choir at the top of Magdlen tower + crazy blokes (and blokettes) jumping of Magdlen bridge into waist deep waters (less than a meter).
Thanks to Davinia, I was able to sip champagne and eat brunch from within Magdlen and watch this spectacle from the best location - the Oscar Wilde room.
Being bestowed with splendid weather, we then went to Kazbar (at Cowley) for breakfast (at 6.30am) followed by a walk around town - Cornmarket, High Street and Broad Street - in search of Morris Dancers or any pagan dances. Unfortunately we only stumbled upon a folk music act and a bizarre 'green-flower powery-nature' dance troupe. It was entertaining nonetheless.
